I’m Mary and I’m The Business Teacher.
My interest in being my own boss probably came from my Dad (a lifelong employee of the electric company). He became a real estate developer when he came home at the end of the day. I followed him around to job sites and meetings whenever I could. It was fun! His passion was creating something interesting that also gave him extra income. There were 5 of us kids, so we were expensive to raise! Mom is a retired college professor who demonstrated overwhelming affection for her students. She has always shared her satisfaction about when that “light bulb” goes on and the student has learned something they can build upon.
That’s why I started my career by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and then an MBA and developing businesses of my own in real estate and construction. Then, during the near collapse of the economy in 2009 – 2010, I realized that teaching what I know would be a great way to prepare others to develop their own businesses (their own security).
After all, Who better to control your future than YOU!
I’ve been developing resources and teaching entrepreneurs, like you, ever since. Today everything I do is about helping small business owners get started, achieve results and make money. In fact, why don’t you sign up and start receiving my emails with tips and tools. It’s the first step!
